Marie Popall (*1990, Berlin, she/her) ist freischaffende Performerin, Schauspielerin und Sprecherin. In ihren Arbeiten, die sich an der Grenze von Tanz, Theater und Performance bewegen, befragt sie das Politische im Imaginativen und ergründet performativ das Verhältnis von Kraft, Gewalt und Zärtlichkeit. Von 2012 bis 2017 studierte sie an der Hochschule der Künste Bern im Bachelor Theater und im Master Expanded Theatre. 2016-2021 arbeitete Marie in intensiver Zusammenarbeit mit der Künstlerin Natascha Moschini. In der Kollaboration Moschini/Popall prämierte 2019 ihre erste abendfüllende Arbeit Soft Tissue in Koproduktion mit der Dampfzentrale Bern, dem ROXY Theater Birsfelden, Südpol Luzern und dem Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik Zürich, gefolgt von ihrer zweiten Kollaboration When mama was moth, I took bulb form. Marie spielte von 2018/19-2019/20 im Ensemble des Konzert Theater Bern und ist als Performerin und Schauspielerin an Orten wie der Gessnerallee Zürich und dem Schauspiel Dortmund zu sehen. In Koproduktion mit dem Fabriktheater Rote Fabrik Zürich und der Dampfzentrale Bern realisierte Marie in Kollaboration mit der Autorin Saskia Winkelmann die Performance HUNDSKÖPFIGE, mit der Arbeit war sie Halbfinalistin des PREMIO-Nachwuchswettbewerbs, wurde auf eine Recherche-Residenz in die Cima Citta im Tessin eingeladen, sowie an das Tanzhaus Zürich.
